WAKEFIELD — John F. Roberts Jr., 51, of Wakefield passed away in Boston on June 2.
He was born on May 11, 1966, and was the son of Michelina (Santoro) Roberts of Wakefield and the late John F. Roberts.
John was a lifelong Wakefield resident and a graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Class of 1984. After high school, he attended Bunker Hill Community College. John was currently working as a security guard for Hub Security of Boston.
John is survived by his beloved mother Michelina Roberts, his loving siblings Lisa Rindone and her husband Charles of Peabody, and Michael Roberts of Lowell. John was also the uncle of Jennifer and Andrew Robertson.
John’s funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10 o’clock.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
