Obit-Cook-webPALM BAY, Fla. — John M. Cook, 53, of Palm Bay, Fla. died July 13 in Palm Bay.

Mr. Cook was born in Woburn on May 8, 1962 and was the beloved son of Walter W. Cook of Wakefield and the late Cynthia M. (Downs) Cook. He was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1980, and from R.I.T. of New York in 1984.

He had been employed by Domino Ink Jet of Ohio.

In addition to his father Walter, John is survived by his daughter Genevieve Cook of Illinois, his brother Jamie W. Cook of Pennsylvania as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Deborah McKenna.

A graveside service will be held at the Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell Street, Wakefield, on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, corner of Main and Bryant streets, Wakefield, at 11.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
