Business owner was born in Italy
REVERE — Joseph Pisapia of Revere, formerly of Malden and Everett, entered into rest unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was 72 years of age. Born in Cava, Italy, Joe lived in Everett and Malden for many years before settling in Revere. He was a business owner by profession having owned many varieties of real estate.
He was the beloved son of Anna (Navarro) and the late Vincenzo Pisapia and the dear and devoted father of Anna Peppe and her husband, Joseph of North Reading and the late Joseph Pisapia, Jr. He was the brother of Tony Pisapia and his wife, Joanne and Rose Marenghi of Malden, Ferdinand “Fred” Pisapia and his wife, Gail of Everett and Anna Pisapia of Revere. Joe was the loving grandfather of Guiliana and Andrew Peppe. He was the former husband of Elizabeth Ann (Crinavic) Pisapia of Revere.
His funeral was held from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home in Everett on Tuesday, May 5 followed by a funeral Mass in the Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St. Malden. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph’s memory to the Joseph “Joey” Pisapia, Jr. Scholarship Fund, c/o Malden High School, 77 Salem St., Malden, MA 02148, would be sincerely appreciated.
