WAKEFIELD — Judith A. Dean, 80, a longtime Wakefield resident, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.

She was born in Melrose on April 14, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Francis Brooks Jr. and Pauline (Gillespie) Brooks.

Judith was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She had been a Wakefield resident for 50 years and was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church. She had worked as a very successful sales representative for AVON Products and was a member of the “Presidents Club.” She also worked at America Switch in Wakefield as a secretary for many years.

She was the beloved wife of William H. Dean. She was the loving mother of Patricia A. Duhaime of Lynnfield, Rosemary Pellegrini of Lynnfield, and Brenda Lee Clark of Saugus. She was the sister of Kathleen Swanson of New Hampshire and the late Donna Gilbert. She was the cherished grandmother of Ashley, Kimberly and Jessica Duhaime, Giulio, Brianna, and Alexander Pellegrini, and Patrick Pierce.

Funeral services will be private.
