Resident of Lynnfield for 59 years

LYNNFIELD — Julia R. Grifoni, 91, of Lynnfield, died December 1, 2016 in Lynn. She was born in Boston on July 5, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Victor and Rose (Zucco) Fucaloro. She was raised in East Boston and had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 59 years.
Mrs. Grifoni is survived by her beloved husband Vincent L. Grifoni. She was the loving mother of Vincent J. Grifoni and his wife Carole of Peabody. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sheri Gentile, Krista Normandin and Michelle Grifoni, and her great-grandchildren, Jenna and Wesley. She is predeceased by her brother, Anthony Fucaloro and her sister, Catherine Siegel.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be held from funeral home on Friday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., West Peabody at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
