WAKEFIELD — Kenneth Doucette, of Wakefield, 59, died Feb. 22, 2016 in Wakefield.
He was born in Melrose on July 8, 1956 and was the son of the late Harold Doucette and M. Marjorie Maltby.
Kenneth was a graduate of Wakefield High School and later a graduate of South Eastern Massachusetts University and received a master’s degree in education from Harvard University. He worked as a software developer for Computer Associates. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed playing softball, fishing and reading. He also had been a member of the Jacksonville Golf Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla.
Kenneth was the loving father of Warren Doucette of Orlando, Fla. and Scott Doucette of Youngstown, Pa. He is also survived by his aunt Georgine Maltby of Wakefield. He was the grandfather of Dylan, Nate and Hailey Doucette.
Relatives and friends attended a graveside service held this morning at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell Street in Wakefield.
