Avid Bruins fan, loved travel and music

 

NORTH READING — Kenneth M. McGregor, 23, of North Reading and formerly of Billerica died accidentally on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014.

Born in Melrose on Feb. 6, 1991, he was the son of Kristin N. (Simpson) McGregor and husband John R. White of Danvers and Michael P. McGregor and wife Kristen (Johnson) of North Reading.

Ken was a graduate of Shawsheen Technical High School in Billerica, Class of 2009.  He worked as a mason laborer for McGregor Incorporated in Wakefield. Ken enjoyed traveling, music and his friends. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his sister Ashley M. Pintone and her husband Vinny of North Andover; his brother Ryan P. McGregor of North Reading; his two stepsisters Erin L. White and Meaghan A. White, both of Lynn; his grandparents Jonathan and Carol Simpson and Peg McGregor, all of Wakefield and his step-grandfather Edward Johnson of Abington. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kenneth was predeceased by his grandfather John McGregor and his step–grandmother Louise Johnson.

Visitation for relatives and friends were held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were private.
