Resident of town for 57 years
NORTH READING — Mildred I. (Anderson) Wilson, 98, of North Reading, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at Meadow View Care and Rehabilitation in North Reading. She was the beloved wife of the late Claude Wilson.
Born in East Boston on March 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Olof E. and Hulda (Sandstrom) Anderson. Mildred was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School.
She had been a resident of North Reading for the past 57 years and was a member of the Martins Pond Union Baptist Church for many years. Mildred was a former Telephone Operator and also worked for Compugraphic.
She was always dedicated to her family, Mildred enjoyed crocheting, reading, word games and playing bingo.
Family members include her loving sons, Steven Wilson of Tewksbury and David Wilson of Wilmington. She was the sister of the late Ethel Richardson.
Calling hours were held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading on Sunday, Nov. 16. There was no funeral service.
