HEBRON, Maine — Kenny Mills of North Reading, a three-sport letterman (hockey, baseball and mountain biking) and captain of the varsity mountain bike team, was honored during the Fall Term Athletic Award Ceremony with The Hebron Academy’s Mountain Biking Most Valuable Rider Award.

Although this was only his second season of competitive riding, Mills was the leading point scorer for the second consecutive year on the 13-member varsity mountain bike team. He finished the season ranked 17th out of 97 riders in the Northern New England High School Mountain Bike League East B Division.

Academically, Mills is a high honors student with a perfect 4.0 GPA. To earn highest honors a student must achieve and maintain an average of 3.7 to 4.0 in all classes. While earning highest honors, Mills’ caseload included six honors level courses (English [2], Math [2], Science and History) and AP Biology.

In addition to his academic and athletic accomplishments, Mills, a junior, is also an active member of Hebron Academy’s Jazz Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Hebegeebes A Cappella Group and The Hebron Academy Drama Players.
