Wakefield resident liked music, dance

Haladay-obit-webWAKEFIELD — Kerrie Lynne Haladay, 31, of Wakefield, formerly of North Reading, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017.
Born in Melrose on August 2, 1985, she was the beloved daughter of Richard J. Haladay and Catherine A. (Lopes) Smith.
Kerrie was a graduate of North Reading High School, Class of 2003. She attended North Shore Community College in Danvers where she studied Cosmetology and Hairstyling.
Kerrie was a former executive secretary for Mosse & Mosse Associates, Inc., of Lynnfield. She loved music, dance, taking walks, and spending quality time with her family. She was an animal lover and enjoyed many family vacations, especially those in the White Mountains.
Kerrie is survived by her parents, Catherine A. Smith and her husband Dale of North Reading, Richard J. Haladay and his wife Kristine of Epping, NH; her siblings: Jill R. Haladay of Nottingham, NH; Meghan K. and Katelyn R. Paraskevas, and Ryan R. Haladay, all of Epping, NH; Heather Smith of Danvers, and Daniel P. Smith and his wife Lindsey of North Reading.
In addition, Kerrie is survived by her dear grandmother, Lillian M. Haladay, and was the beloved granddaughter of the late Fred J. Haladay, Sr., Joseph V. Lopes and Philomena F. Lopes, to whom she had been a caregiver. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Thursday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will then be held at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield, at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell Street, Wakefield.
