WAKEFIELD — Kevin R. Smith, 49, of Wakefield, died Tuesday, August 8, at the Winchester Hospital.
Born in Melrose on September 28, 1967, he was the son of Elizabeth J. (Downie) Scranton of Stoneham and James J. Smith of Reading.
Kevin was raised in Wakefield and had attended Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping and outdoor activities.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Mastroianni) Smith; his daughter, Lindsay Smith; his son, Kevin Smith; his sister Deborah Huntzberry of TN; his brother, James Smith of Sutton, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were private. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
