WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Little League Opening Day Parade will be held on Saturday, April 25 beginning at 10 a.m. from the Wakefield Common. Teams are to assemble at 9:30 a.m. at the Common.
The route will be from Main Street to Water Street to Fernald Field which is on DelCarmine Street.
Opening Day Ceremonies will follow the parade. There is also a cookout following Opening Day and there ceremonies to raise money for the Geoffrey Walter Fund. Opening Day games are to follow the ceremonies.
