LYNNFIELD — Join the Lynnfield Athletic Association (LAA) for its 49th annual Fourth of July Road Race on Independence Day.
This is a fun, family friendly event, attracting people of all ages. After the race there will be snacks provided, a raffle and an awards ceremony.
Wakefield Co-operative Bank has generously donated $1,000 to LAA, showing support for the community and helping to provide for any needs of the race.
“We are very thankful for Wakefield Co-operative Bank’s repeated, annual donation to LAA,” said Andrea Braconnier, Fourth of July Race Director. “The bank’s donation touches every part of the race, from decorations to snacks to the awards handed out. They help us to keep this tradition alive, and for that we are grateful.”
Be sure to sign up, put on your red, white and blue, and start your Fourth of July off with a bang.
The race takes place at the Lynnfield Town Hall, 55 Summer St. It is open to runners from all communities. Check-in and race-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The starting gun goes off at 9 a.m.
