LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Art Guild (LAG) keeps painting all summer, with Paint-Along Workshops the first Saturday of each month at Columbus Hall in Post Office Square, South Lynnfield (behind the Dunkin’ Donuts) and occasional ‘en plein air’ outings.

Join them this Saturday, Aug. 6 for their next Paint Along workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a fee of $10 with experienced Art Guild artists.

Participants may paint from photograph or magazine covers or use the still life provided. Some of the Guild members will show the work they have in progress and provide suggested painting techniques or peer review. Artists of all levels and ages are invited to join this workshop which includes supplies courtesy of the Gershaw fund (or bring your own).

This month’s Paint Along is sponsored by the LARK Studio, a learning arts resource center for young and old at 544 Salem St., Wakefield.

Paint Along is held on a drop-in basis and participants can dabble for a few minutes or stay for the entire time. A lunch break is included with plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
