LYNNFIELD — Lee A. Fitzpatrick, 68, of Lynnfield and formerly of Stoneham, passed away at his residence on Friday, May 8, 2015.
Born in Boston on Jan. 8, 1947, Lee was the son of the late Leo A. and Helen M. (Vincent) Fitzpatrick.
Lee was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School, Class of 1965 and Northeastern University. He earned his master’s degree in psychology and sociology. Lee retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a social worker. He had worked for the MDC Pool in Stoneham for a greater part of his life. Most recently, he was volunteering for the Meals on Wheels Program and The Stoneham Boys & Girls Club.
Lee is survived by his brother, John V. “Jack” Fitzpatrick and his wife Joanne of North Reading and several cousins and dear friends.
His funeral was held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday, May 18, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Visitation for family and friends was held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 17. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
