Longtime teacher’s aide in Everett

Lenore-Connolly-Obit-webEVERETT — Lenore K. “Lee” (O’Brien) Connolly of Everett passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 89 years.

Born on March 25, 1925, Lee was the beloved wife and copilot for 61 years to the late Richard H. Connolly. She was the loving mother of Rich Connolly and his wife Ellen of Melrose, Julie O’Neill of Marshfield, Joanne Leach and her husband Michael of Wakefield and the late Janet O’Neill and her surviving husband Michael of North Reading.

She was also the loving sister of Anne Gibbons of Maine and the cherished grandmother of Michael Richard O’Neill, Katie (O’Neill) Britton and her husband Curt, Sean Richard O’Neill, Julia and Richard Connolly and Molly and Nora Leach, as well as the cherished great-grandmother of Kevin Britton and Alanah O’Neill. Lee is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Prior to her retirement, Lee was a longtime teacher’s aide for the Everett Public Schools.

Her funeral was held from the JF Ward Funeral Home Everett, on Saturday, Oct. 25 followed by a funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Everett. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
