Fantastic cook and loved the beach

MELROSE — Lisa M. (Keohan) Mendenhall, 58 years of age, was a resident of Lawrence and a 1982 Graduate of Melrose High School. She graduated from Fisher College at the top of her class with a degree in paralegal. She loved the presence of her daughters, son and grandchildren when they visited her after moving to different cities and states.

Lisa was a fantastic cook and often made her favorite snack, chocolate chip banana bread for her son Bryce. She loved cooking for family and friends, filling tummies with delicious foods. Lisa had an immense love for the beach. Often, she would take her son Bryce to the beach to enjoy the mother-and-son time in the summer. She always felt calm and at home at the beach and loved every minute of it. She had gotten very tan summer after summer. She had many friends she would hang out with around the area, at their houses, her house or at times meeting them at the bars and/or going on trips. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14 with her family at her side.

Lisa is the beautiful mother of Ashley Keohan (deceased), Samantha Vining and Bryce Mendenhall. Daughter of the late Robert F and Loretta A. Keohan. Sister of Michael Keohan, Theresa Keohan (deceased), Kimberly Keohan and her wife Nancy. Grandmother of Mason, Caiden, Bentley and Kendall.

Family and friends are invited to attend a burial ceremony at Wyoming Cemetery on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m.
