LYNNFIELD — Village Home and Garden Club members were thrilled to celebrate their end-of-the-year gathering as guests of Davio’s MarketStreet.
Host and Davio’s owner Steve DiFillippo treated the club to a special evening starting with a culinary workshop followed by a delicious dinner of the restaurant’s famed Northern Italian cuisine.
Chef Rodney Murillo, the culinary director of Davio’s Restaurants, guided club members through the preparation of their own batch of Davio’s signature gnocchi. Gnocchi, along with San Marzano tomato and Bolognese sauces were packaged as evening parting gifts. The Lynnfield Home & Garden Club is truly grateful to have been guests of Davio’s for this wonderfully informative and delicious dining experience.
DiFillippo opened his first Davio’s restaurant in 1985 in Boston’s Back Bay. Now with 11 locations across the country, DiFillippo has built his reputation as a celebrity chef. In his book, “It’s All About the Guest: Exceeding Expectations in Business and in Life, the Davio’s Way,” DiFillippo answers the constantly asked question of how he did it, with the “ultimate guide to starting a restaurant, running a successful business, enjoying food, and living life.”
