Family man enjoyed traveling and music
LYNNFIELD Anthony M. Celani, 88, of Lynnfield and formerly of Melrose, died on October 1, 2021 at the MelroseWakefield Hospital.

Mr. Celani was raised in Malden, later resided in Melrose, and had been a Lynnfield resident since 1972. He was the retired president and owner of New England Sports Cars in Malden. He was a member of the Lions Club of Lynnfield and enjoyed music, playing the accordion and organ. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy, and was an avid student of World War II history. Most of all, he loved being with his family.

Mr. Celani was the beloved husband of Gianna M. (Marcoccia) Celani. He was the loving father of Frank Celani and his wife, Sharon, of Peabody; Brenda A. Kane and her husband, David, of New Hampshire; and Anthony Celani and his wife, Lucy, of North Reading. He was the brother of the late Marion Gianino and Anita Mobilia. He is survived by his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

His funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250. The McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield handled the arrangements.
