Owner of KDA Truck Repair and loved working on modern muscle cars

DANVERS — Mr. Frank V. Bognanno Jr., 61, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Born in Winthrop, Mr. Bognanno was the son of Gloria (DiMaggio) Bognanno-Fallon of Lynnfield and the late Frank V. Bognanno. He was the owner of KDA Truck Repair of Wakefield since 1991, and loved working on modern muscle cars. Frank was proud to be a fourth degree black belt in karate.

In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his four children, Danielle Bognanno of Revere; Angela Bognanno of Malden; Frank V. Bognanno III of Wakefield; and Candice Bognanno of Saugus as well as their mother, Karen (D’Arcangelo) Bognanno. Two grandchildren, Michael A. Imbruglia and Rosalee Bognanno, also survive Frank. He is also survived by four sisters: Diane Caron of Florida; Joanne DiNatale of Rowley; Carol Reid and Gina Pires, both of Saugus. Many nieces and nephews also survive Frank.
