Army veteran loved the ocean

WESPORT, CONNECTICUT — Robert (Bob) L. Ozanian, 78, of Westport, born on August 3, 1940 in New York, passed away on January 14, 2019.

Bob attended Pleasantville High School and Pace University. Bob served in the Army and then worked in the telecommunications industry as an engineer for Verizon until he retired in 1994. He was married to Rosanna Ozanian. His sons, Robert A. and his wife Ann of Lynnfield; and Todd and his fiancée Mila of Eastchester, New York, survive him. His grandchildren Molly, Maggie and Hannah also survive him.

Bob enjoyed life to the fullest with his loving wife Rosanna and is remembered by all for his quick wit and his desire to make everyone around him comfortable and happy. His passion was home improvement. He completely remodeled and built on to the original farmhouse in Westport, which was home for the past 40 years. He also loved living close to the ocean where he enjoyed sailing and fishing.

Friends and family were welcomed to the memorial service on Friday, Jan. 18 at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 49 Turkey Hill Road North, Westport, Conn. A reception followed at Old Post Tavern at 1418 Post Rd, Fairfield, Conn.
