Raised her family in North Reading

WAKEFIELD — Marion Greenleaf of Wakefield died July 18 in Wakefield.

Marion was the beloved daughter of the late William and Mary (Splain) Jackson.

She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She later lived in North Reading where she raised her family and had been a Wakefield resident since 1985.

She was an active member of the Wakefield Senior Center and an avid Bridge player there.

She was also retired from Round’s Hardware of Stoneham where she worked for many years as a bookkeeper.

Marion was the beloved wife of the late Hartley E. Greenleaf Jr. She was the loving mother of Dawn M. St. Vincent and her husband Tim, Gayle G. Terhune and her significant other Mauro Demaso, all of Wakefield, and the late Hartley E. Greenleaf III. She was the sister of Margaret Fulgoni and Theresa Scozzaro of Florida and the late John, Bill and Walter Jackson. She was the loving grandmother of Benjamin, Erin, Hartley IV, Kenny, Ashly and Nicole. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield, on Saturday, July 30 at 11. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
