WAKEFIELD — Marvin H. Levine, 73, of Wakefield and formerly of Woburn, died at his home Wednesday August 23.
Born in Albany, New York on June 9, 1944, he was the son of Adele (Sheber) Levine and the late Leonard Levine.
Marvin was a graduate of Albany Academy in New York, and Union College in Schenectady, New York. He served in the Army during the Vietnam era.
Marvin was currently working as a sales representative for Needham Oil and Air.
He enjoyed working out at the gym, watching sporting events, especially his daughter Katie’s tennis matches (she meant the world to him). His favorite times were spent with his family.
Marvin was the beloved husband of Susan L. (Leary) Levine. He was the loving father of Catherine L. McGurl and her husband Michael of Reading, the son of Adele (Sheber) Levine of Westport, NY, and the brother of Jeffrey Levine of Westport, NY. Marvin is also survived by his granddaughter Natalie.
His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
