SOMERVILLE — Mary E. Lembo, 92, of Somerville died Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Cambridge.
She was born in Wakefield on July 14, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Florindo and Rose (Lepore) Colucello.
Mrs. Lembo was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She had been a Somerville resident since 1947, where she had been a member of the Zonta Club of Somerville. She was retired from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Mrs. Lembo was the beloved wife of the late Philip J. Lembo. She was the loving mother of Paul J. Lembo and Rosemary E. Lembo and her husband Bill Lamb, all of Somerville, Claire L. Kostopoulos and her husband Charles of Florida and Philip J. Lembo and his wife Susan of Melrose. She was the sister of the late Helen Zavarise and Joseph Colucello. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Amanda, Philip, Kate and Becky.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
