MELROSE — This year, the Melrose Arts and Crafts Society will be holding its Annual Exhibit and Sale, Saturday, October 19 at the First Congregational Church, 121 West Foster St., Melrose from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All year, members have been busy making items for the exhibit. A quilt, raffle baskets and an afghan will be raffled. Tickets are available at The Lucky Cat Yarns, 167 West Emerson St., Melrose; Mary Roses Quilts and Treasures, 4 Brande Ct., Reading and at the exhibit.
There will be a sales table containing home baked goods, homemade knitted and crocheted items and plants. There will also be a whole room of Rescued Treasures you never can tell what you can find there.
Members will be demonstrating quilting, jewellery making and knitting.
Coffee, tea and homemade goodies will be served compliments of the members.
The exhibit has free admission and parking and is wheelchair accessible.
Melrose Arts and Crafts Society will have its next monthly meeting Oct. 21 at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St. from 9 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m.
The society has members from over 11 surrounding communites and welcomes anyone who is interested in any of our activities. The society receives grant money from The Massachusetts Cultural Council.
