Melrose First Federal Credit Union awards $1K in scholarships

MELROSE — Melrose First Federal Credit Union recently presented two area high school students with $1,000 in college scholarship money.
Cole Hinchey of St. John’s Prep and Joseph Divola of Saugus High School each received $500.00 in Scholarship funds. The “Elsie P. Kinney Memorial Scholarship” is in its 23rd year.
The scholarship was established in memory of one of the founding fathers of the credit union. This year, in honor of 55 years, the Credit Union has given two scholarships to college bound seniors.
