COME AND SEE SANTA from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. You may even get a special treat from Santa’s helper, Rose Dittmer.

MELROSE — The Mt. Hood Park Association invites the public to attend its annual and festive “Children’s Holiday Party” at the Mount Hood Clubhouse, 100 Slayton Road, Melrose on Sunday, December 5 from 1 – 3 p.m. We realize that it has been a difficult year for parents and children over the past year, and we are delighted to be able to celebrate the holiday season this year by sponsoring this enjoyable event.

Please join for this popular and festive event which includes live musical entertainment and of course a visit by Santa Claus. Unlike in previous years, Santa Claus will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. to reduce crowding in the hall. Desserts and refreshments will be served. This year we have invited back the Balloon Magic of Yarrow, who will entertain children with his amazing balloon magic – twisting them into various shapes and given to children in attendance.

Because we are still dealing with the COVID pandemic, we ask that attendees who are not vaccinated to please wear masks while others who are vaccinated may still feel more comfortable wearing masks. All Mt. Hood Park Association staff as well as the entertainers have been fully vaccinated. Also, there will be sanitizer stations available in the hall.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, call (781) 665-8172.
