EAST LONGMEADOW — Andrea L. (Cappellucci) Carlin, 41, of East Longmeadow, formerly of Melrose, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Feb. 12, 2019.
Andrea was born in Malden, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1995. She went on to earn her Sociology degree from North Adams State College, Class of 1999. Andrea resided in Melrose for most of her life and worked as a Sales Manager for Hertz Rent-a-Car for many years.
She enjoyed the beach and traveling on cruises and going to the Caribbean. Andrea’s girls were the loves of her life and she enjoyed spending her time with them at all their sporting events. Andrea was a very social person and one of the friendliest people that you would ever want to meet.
She was the loving mother of Kayla and Ashlee Carlin. Devoted daughter of Daniel and Maureen (Connolly) Cappellucci of Peabody, formerly of Melrose. Caring sister of Colleen Hawes and her husband Mark of North Andover, Allison Harren and her husband Dan of Reading and Nicholas Cappellucci of Peabody. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visiting hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, Feb. 15. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose on Saturday, Feb. 16. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend.
