MELROSE — Anna Lee “Nancy” Doyle, 79, a lifelong resident of Melrose, died on January 21, 2018. Nancy was born in Stoneham on July 1, 1938 to the late Henry and Ruth (Marsh) O’Leary. She was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School. Nancy loved taking road trips, whether it was one of her many trips to Prince Edward Island or just taking a car ride to Maine. She was a family person first and foremost, and was a very proud grandmother. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed crafts, particularly crafting Christmas Balls around the holidays for the whole family.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late William J. Doyle. Loving mother of Kristina M. Millard and her husband David of Windham, N.H., William J. Doyle Jr. and his girlfriend Teresa Dolaher of Melrose, and Andrea L. Doyle-Day and her husband Steven of Wakefield. Proud grandmother of Kayla, Allie, Sean, Samantha, Liam, Steven, Aidan, and Ryan. Caring sister of Mary Ellen O’Leary and the late Peter O’Leary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, January 24, at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. Funeral procession was from the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday,  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend.
