MELROSE — F. James Lubinski, 67, a longtime resident of Melrose, passed away at the Brigham Health and Rehabilitation Center in Newburyport on December 22, 2018.

Jim was born in Malden on April 30, 1951. He was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School in 1969, from University of Massachusetts Boston and received his masters degree from Northeastern University. Mr. Lubinski held numerous jobs throughout his career: as a drug councilor, a probation officer, and then as owner and president of Community Connection/JFL Marketing, Inc. Jim produced the phone books for over 25 years in Melrose, North Conway, New Hampshire and for more than 25 towns across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.

Mr. Lubinski was loved by his friends and family and was a great boss to his employees. Jim loved spending time with his family whether they were skiing at the local mountains in the North Conway area or spending time at their home on Conway Lake boating, water skiing and fishing. He enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid golfer and a longtime member of Bellevue Golf Club in Melrose.

Mr. Lubinski was the loving husband of 48 years to M. Donna Fagone-Lubinski. Beloved father of Jennifer T. Tuite and her husband Dr. Joel Tuite of Littleton, N.H. and Steven F. Lubinski and his wife Nichole of Boxford. Grandfather of Jackson and Wyatt Tuite and Mason and Noah Lubinski. Caring brother of Joseph Lubinski, Jackie Zell, Cheryl Figelski and the late Debby Finn. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield on Saturday, January 19 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
