‘Second Mom’ to many

MELROSE — Victoria E. “Vicki” Robinson of Melrose passed away at the MelroseWakefield Hospital on August 12, 2022 at the age of 66.
Vicki was born in Melrose, raised in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School, Class of 1974. Vicki was a longtime Melrose resident, worked for the Melrose Police Department as a crossing guard for 27 years and more recently worked at the Children’s Center in Wakefield and retired in 2020.
Vicki was a Girl Scout leader and foster mom and “Second Mom” to many. She was a cheerleading coach and enjoyed trips to casinos, camping and spending time with her family. Vicki was kind and caring and had a great sense of humor. She was always quick with a witty response and never afraid to speak her mind.
Vicki was the beloved wife of Paul B. Robinson. Loving mother of Deana Middleton of Saugus, Robert Middleton and his wife Rachel of Reading and Janelle DeAvilla and her husband Stephen of Maine. Stepmother of Sandra Robinson of Malden and Janet Robinson of Woburn. Cherished grandmother of Alexis, Rylee, Cooper, Steven, Isabella and Vincent, Gabriella and Julianna. Also survived by nephews, relatives and many good friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
