O'Neilobit-webSTONEHAM — Michael Brian O’Neil, 59, of Stoneham died on Tuesday, April 25, peacefully among family at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Michael was born in Everett on May 6, 1957 to the late Robert and Margaret (O’Keefe) O’Neil. He resided in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High School in 1975. He served for 35 years as an electrician in the IBEW Local 103.

He loved his family, friends, playing guitar and riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis M. (Bruning) O’Neil; daughter Colleen M. Annes and her husband Tiago; son Michael B. O’Neil Jr., and grandson Lucas V. Annes. He was the brother of Robert O’Neil and his wife Mary, Kathleen Daigle and her husband Steve, Carol Gover and her husband Daniel, Margaret Cormier and her husband Clayton, Maureen Stanieich and her husband Paul, Anne Guertin and her husband Steve, Charlene Porter and her husband Neil, Cheryl MacDonald, and Sean O’Neil and his wife Amy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o’clock.

Visitation for relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
