EVERETT — Michael John Ouimette, 54, of Everett and formerly of Southampton, passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, Jan. 23.
One of six sons, Michael was born on April 14, 1960 in Southampton and was raised in Southampton. He attended Western New England College and the Boston Architectural College. A carpenter by trade, he appreciated fine finish craftsmanship and detail. He was a fan of all New England sports teams, including the Revolution. Michael enjoyed taking part in coaching both of his daughters in soccer. He will be missed and lovingly remembered his family and friends.
Michael was the beloved husband of Jennifer M. Ouimette. He was the cherished father of Madelyn E. Ouimette and Casey A. Ouimette of Everett. He was the devoted son of Constance A. Ouimette of Southampton and the late Charles E. Ouimette. He was the loving brother of Chuck Ouimette and his wife Kathy of Southampton; Tom Ouimette and his companion, Louise, of Southampton; John Ouimette and his wife Mary of Holyoke; Jim Ouimette and his companion, Tina, of Southampton and the late David Ouimette and his wife Linda of Connecticut. He was the dear nephew of Betty Faulhaber and her husband Larry of Westfield. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and a grandniece.
