Simboli-obit-webMELROSE — Natale L. Simboli, 83, of Melrose, died peacefully on Aug. 19.

Natale was born in Italy on Feb. 22, 1932 to Pasquale and Teopista (DiCesare) Simboli. He lived in Italy for 18 years before immigrating to Montreal with his family. While living in Canada, Natale met the love of his life, Angelina (DiMarzio) Simboli, and they spent 55 years happily married.

Natale moved his family to Everett and then to Melrose in 1972, where they lived ever since.

He spent over 30 years working as a welder for the Shopman’s Local Union but Natale was always a jack-of-all-trades and was able to handle any project. He would spend hours working outside in his garden which he took great pride in.

Natale also enjoyed traveling to Canada and Italy to visit family. He truly loved his family and was always happiest with them.

Natale was the beloved husband of Angelina (DiMarzio). He was the cherished father of Nunziatina and her son Dante and Pasqualino, his wife and their children. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

Visitation was on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m.at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose. The funeral was from the Gately Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Melrose.

Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
