NORTH READING The North Reading Health Department is hosting a Fall Influenza Clinic on Friday, September 27 at the O’Leary Senior Center at 157 Park St. North Reading.  They will be offering vaccinations from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  These dates may be subject to change on account of vaccine availability.

The flu and Covid-19 vaccines are offered for ages 3 and older Other vaccines are available for ages 5 and older (except the high dose flu vaccine which is for people over age 65).

Vaccines will be offered for influenza, pneumonia, shingles, RSV, Hepatitis B and TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis a.k.a. whooping cough). An alternative flu vaccine for people with severe egg allergies is also available.

Medical insurance cards are required to receive vaccines, but residents will not be billed by their insurance company.  Instead, the insurance cards are needed by the health department to submit for reimbursement in order to help fund future clinics.  To schedule an appointment, call the Edith O’Leary Senior Center at 978-664-5600.
