Annual Robert Hunt Memorial Alumni game May 27

The 41st annual Robert Hunt Memorial Alumni baseball game will be held May 27, 10 a.m. at North Reading High School’s Carey Park.

This year’s alumni game will pit the stars of yesteryear against the NRHS varsity team. The North Reading Diamond Club is promoting the game as a fun-filled family day featuring complimentary hot dogs, soda, gum and other tempting items.

In addition “Chomps” the baseball savvy mascot of the North Shore Navigators will be available to entertain the families with autographs and other surprises. The North Reading Diamond Club hopes to see all of its fans in attendance and all proceeds from the game will fund the Robert Hunt Memorial Scholarship which is awarded annually to a senior baseball player.
