NORTH READING — North Reading High School Masquers’ 2024 fall musical, “Mean Girls High School Version” is approaching. This show will have four performances across two weekends. Opening Night will be Friday, Dec. 6 and they will have their second performance on Saturday, Dec. 7.  Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m.  There will be a third and fourth show the following weekend on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m.

Mean Girls is based on the 2004 movie in which Cady Heron, a teenager previously homeschooled on the African savanna, is faced with the daunting social hierarchy of suburban public high school. Masquers advises that due to mature themes and strong language, this show may not be appropriate for all ages and, thus, is recommended for children 13 and older.
