NORTH READING — Senior Sports Awards were recently announced by North Reading High School.
The female recipient of the Lester Levey Scholar-Athlete Award is Julia Thorstad. Julia earned 10 varsity letters in three sports and is a member of the National Honor Society. She will attend Trinity College in the fall where she will continue her soccer career.
The male recipient of the Lester Levey Scholar-Athlete Award is William Taylor. Will earned eight varsity letters in three sports and is a member of the National Honor Society. He will attend UMass-Amherst in the fall.
The female recipient of the Nickolas Martinho Best All-Around Athlete Award is Katelyn Gorgenyi. She earned 11 varsity letters in three sports. Katelyn will attend UMass-Amherst in the fall where she will continue her track career.
The male recipient of the Nickolas Martinho Best All-Around Athlete Award is John Murphy. Jack earned 12 varsity letters in three sports. He will attend Lehigh University in the fall where he will continue his track career.
