BOSTON — The state champion NRHS girls’ indoor track and field team was represented by senior Abigail Lilley and junior Giuliana Ligor on Sunday at New Balance Nationals held at The Track at New Balance in Boston.

Both competitors earned All-American status, the first NRHS student athletes to earn this honor.

Lilley is an All-American in the weight throw as she beat her own school record by 5 feet, throwing 52’6.5” at Nationals. That distance was good for 4th overall.

Ligor is an All-American in the Pentathlon as she finished with 3,427 points, good for 5th overall.
