NORTH READING — A true North Reading tradition returns to Ipswich River Park on Wednesday, August 21 — the Teddy Bear Picnic!
Children of all ages are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to the picnic from 10:30 a.m. to noon for a fun-filled morning.
Come to the pavilion at the park and visit the nurses station to get your teddy weighed and measured. If teddy is in need of repair, he will be stitched up with tender loving care!
Enjoy face painting, crafts, games and more activities! Bring your lunch and a blanket to have a picnic on the grass with your teddy at morning’s end. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged through Parks and Recreation. The cost is $12 per child pre-registration and $14 per child on the day of the event. The rain date is Thursday, August 22.
