NORTH READING — The North Reading Police Department has issued an advisory to motorists and residents that Central Street at the Andover Line (Gould Road) will be closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the month of August due to road work being completed in Andover.
Residents should utilize Main Street (Route 28) to access Route 125 or take Haverhill Street up to Harold Parker Road in Andover as an alternative route. (Haverhill Street becomes Jenkins Road once you cross the Andover town line.)
The upper end of Central Street near the Hillview C.C. and the Little League Complex remains open to residential traffic in North Reading.
