Proud homemaker who enjoyed golfing
Born in Cambridge on January 6, 1937, she was the loving daughter of the late Albert and Helen Belliveau. Helen grew up in Cambridge and attended Cambridge schools. She met the love of her life, Robert, and married at the age of 19. They settled in Somerville to raise their family. Helen was a dedicated mother and proud homemaker. Helen enjoyed warm weather and spent her later years golfing and living in sunny Florida. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.
Helen was the devoted mother of Linda Voto of North Andover; Robert S. Voto and his long-time companion Lauren Grant of North Reading; and the late Laura Salvo. She was also the mother-in-law of David Salvo and the cherished grandmother of Robert J., Justin, Michael, Michelle, Nicholas, Angela and Vanessa; and great-grandmother of Emily Frisoli. He was the beloved sister of Philip Gasper, Mary Mazzie, the late Albert Belliveau and the late Joan Franzini. Helen was also the aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading, on Saturday, December 2 at 11 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to visit with Helen’s family prior to the Mass from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church. Burial will be held privately.
