Enjoyed traveling, cooking and playing with her grandchildren
NORTH READING — Janet E. (Staples) Kazmierczak, 69, of North Reading and formerly of Everett, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Malden on August 12, 1954, she was predeceased by her father, Jack Staples, her mother, Claire Ciol and stepfather, William Ciol, and brother-in-law, Stephen Kazmierczak. She was a graduate of Everett High School, attended Salem State College and graduated from Bunker Hill Community College. Janet was an I.T. Training Consultant for BigHand Document Creation Company. She has been a resident of North Reading for the past 40 years.
Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and best friend. She never complained and always thought of helping others. She was known for being a great cook and loved trying new recipes. She had the most joy playing with her grandchildren.
She loved to travel, especially to Disney World and her second home in Fort Myers. Cooking was a passion she passed to her two sons. She loved spending time with her dear friends, visiting their homes and traveling. She also had a great love for gardening.
Family members include her loving husband of 47 years, Paul Kazmierczak; her sons, Michael Kazmierczak and his wife Kelly of Boxford and Christopher Kazmierczak of North Reading; her brother, Joseph Ciol and his wife Barbara of West Dennis; her sister-in-law, Janice Kazmierczak; her grandchildren, Mia and Michael Kazmierczak; and her nieces and nephews, Aubrey M. Ciol, Stephen Kazmierczak and his wife Laurie, Teri Henderson and her husband David and Jim Kazmierczak.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
