FINCASTLE, Va. — Kathleen Marie (Torrice) Currier, 85, of Fincastle, Virginia, and longtime native of North Reading, passed away on February 10, 2021 after a long-fought battle with Alzheimer’s.

She is preceded in death by her dear sisters and brothers, Mary Beauchamp and her husband George, Grace Langill and her husband Bill, Donya Ridge and her husband Laurence, Angie LaCasse and her husband Lawrence, Joseph Torrice and his wife Yolanda, Carl Torrice and his wife Jen, John Torrice and his wife Theresa, and Sam Torrice.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David F. Currier. Kathleen was a devoted mother to Michelle M. Currier of Virginia Beach, Va., Michael D. Currier and his wife Carol of Londonderry, N.H., and Monique M. Green and her husband Dale of Fincastle, Va., and grandmother to Zachary Fry of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Claire Torrice, who was the wife of Sam Torrice; dearest niece Carol Torrice of Woburn and dearest friend Beverly McLaughlin of Woburn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kathleen’s Funeral Mass on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn. Interment is private at Puritan Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Those who feel comfortable are invited to briefly pay their respects on Thursday, February 18 at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn. Those who are 65 and older or experiencing any health problems are invited to come between 3-4 p.m., with the general public invited between 4-6 p.m. All attending are asked to enter through the front door of the funeral home and exit through the back door. Masks must be worn at all times, along with strict adherence to social distancing.
