Beloved by her family

NORTH READING — Shirley H. (Bigelow) Thompson, 95, of North Reading, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Born on April 26, 1925, she was the beloved wife of the late Wilbur Thompson. Shirley was the loving mother of Denise Hashem and her husband John of North Andover and Mark Thompson and his wife Annie of Bradford. She was the grandmother of Nicole, John, Michael, Mark Jr. and David and the great-grandmother of Marina, Ryan, Juliana and Mark III. Shirley was the dear sister of the late Lorraine Moscardini, Elizabeth Marciello, Mary Saxon, and John and William Bigelow.
Her funeral service will be held in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park Street and Rte. 28) North Reading, on Saturday, February 20 at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Social distancing and masks are required in the facility at all times. Interment Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.
