THE NRHS MASQUERS won the Best Musical award for its production of “The Spongebob Musical” at the Sondheim Awards in Connecticut last weekend. It marks the second year in a row that the Masquers won this prestigious award, having won it for “Pippin” last year. “Spongebob” also won three awards for Best Set Design, Best Lighting Design and Best Sound Design, bringing all-around recognition to the students who worked on the stage, behind the set and in the pit for this production, according to Director Allison Kane.
