NORTH READING — Tuesday’s trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day according to JRM, the town’s trash hauler, due to the storm forecasted to hit North Reading and the rest of state.

The storm is expected to begin by 10 p.m. tonight and leave upwards of a foot or more snow in its wake before it ends sometime Tuesday night. Snowfall is expected to fall at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour during the Tuesday morning rush hour. Strong winds will create near blizzard conditions across Eastern Mass. with blowing and drifting snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Trash and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, March 14.
