Former Vice Principal at the Hood School

PEABODY – Patricia A. (Ryan) Parrott – 82, of West Peabody, died Friday, December 23, 2016, at Salem Hospital.
Born in Cambridge, MA on November 19, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Timothy J. and Kathryn (Kelleher) Ryan. Pat was a graduate of Rosary Academy in Watertown, Girls Catholic High School in Malden and Salem State College in Salem. She was a resident of West Peabody for over fifty years and was a member of St. Adelaide’s Church.
She was a School Teacher and Vice Principal at the Hood School in North Reading from 1956 to 1993.
Family members include her loving husband, Louis J. “Jim” Parrott; children, Gary Parrott , Brenda Barnard and Ann Casey; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelmsford. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Joseph’s Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326. www.croswellfuneralhome.com.
