North Reading Little League held the 5th Annual NRLL/Tim Chaloux 12-Year-Old Appreciation Game on Fathers Day, June 18, at Benevento Fields. A total of 21 players participated in this year’s game, which saw the Hammerin’ Hornets defeat the Benevento Bombers, 12-7. The game is the league’s way of thanking its 12-year-olds, who are completing their Small Diamond careers, and is named in memory of Tim Chaloux, a former NRLL standout who died tragically in 2013 when he was a senior at the Pingree School. Playing in this year’s game were: Garrett Arden (Angels), Justin Bailey (Angels), Ryan Baker (Diamondbacks), Adam Bakr (Angels), Alex Carucci (Orioles), Andrew Daley (White Sox), Owen Delano (Diamondbacks), Kevin Doble (Angels), Nick Doucette (White Sox), Justin Lee (Orioles), Ryan McCullough (A’s), Ryan McGuire (Diamondbacks), Jacob Mikulski (A’s), Brady Miller (White Sox), Sam Morelli (Orioles), Brady O’Connor (A’s), Giovanni Pagliuca (Diamondbacks), Liam Rodger (Royals), Zachary Rosatone (Angels), Devin Thomas (White Sox), and Garrett Trentsch (Orioles).
