The Melrose YMCA boy’s 8th grade travel basketball team are champions of the Eastern League after a 68-49 win over Rockport in the title game at Salem State University. The team, coached by Thomas Kehoe, sprinted to an overall record of 14-5 before this championship appearance. Pictured are the winners with their championship t-shirts.
